Thursday: Light frontal showers are expected in KwaZulu-Natal and along the eastern coast of the Eastern Cape with evening drizzle along the Mpumalanga-Limpopo escarpment. Conditions favours runaway fires in the north-central areas and Lowveld. Friday: Fine and warm conditions expected over most parts of the Republic except in the Lowveld where it will be cloudy with possible morning drizzle along the excarpment. Saturday: The dominance of a high pressure system will maintain fine and warm conditions over much of the country while a cold front will be approaching from the far west. Sunday: The dominance of a high pressure system maintains fine and warm to hot conditions over much of the country. In the evening, the cold front will reach the western areas of the Western Cape where it will bring isolated showers. Monday: The cold front will move through the Eastern Cape, spreading light showers along the Cape south coast. The remainder of the coutry will be fine and warm to hot due to the influence of the high pressure system. Tuesday: No rain is expected across the country due to the continued strong subsidence from the high pressure system.
