27 September 2004.
Pages that were bookmarked in the past, or direct links
that were used in the past, will thus no longer be accessible.

As some of the information
that were freely available on the old web, is regarded as commercial
information (as described in the Act on the South African
Weather Service, Act No 8 of 2001), visitors to our website have to
register for certain products.
The registration for forecasts longer than 2 days (inter
alia the 7-day forecast and 14-day forecast) is now compulsory
but no charges are levied at this stage. Having your registration
information will enable us to separate public good users
from commercial users. Public good users will be able to
get the data free, provided that certain undertakings in
terms of the use of the data are adhered to. Users will be
informed in advance if and when the fee structure is implemented.
